This didn't produce much of a reaction on FA (probably cause it's not p0rn!) so I decided to put it up here.

I did this about three months ago back at art college; it was a fun little side project for myself, a nice break from all the Computer Design stuff the professors were shoving down our throats...

Aww, Mok wants sum lovin' <3

EDIT: I just realized that this makes Monica look really Mary-Sue-ish. I apologize for this.

Robin: "If we close our eyes, we can't see anything."
Batman: "A sound observation, Robin."
I love the shading in this. And I agree, Mok does look like he's hard to draw and I like the muscle-tone on Monica. The black and white shading is just beautiful.
How cute! And the shading is simply brilliant! :D

Squeeee!!! I miss your R&R fanart. And I just love the expression on Mok's face here... I could never get him to produce that sort of expression in any of my fanart. You did an absolutely fanatastic job!

And don't worry about Monica looking a little Mary-Sue-ish. Those of us who have read your fanfic know that she is nothing of the kind, so don't worry about it. :)

Also, I love the way you draw Drats with tails. It gives them a more "furry" quality. ;)
Oh and I forgot to add since I miss your "edit" signature...As Mary-Sueish as it may look to you, the only way if she is a Mary-Sue is if everyone loves her and is incrediably perfect. If you show Monica her flaws in your fanfic, then she is the opposite of a "bad" Mary-Sue, but a "good" Mary-Sue.

*sweatdrop* Sorry about the Mary-Sue speech. But I still seem entertained as long as the character is not too exaggerated and out of this world. I'm just going into professional author mode when I mentioned the Mary-Sue thing.
No problem. A lot of fanart that I've been seeing here that has been labeled by others as Mary-Sue-ish have similar qualities as this. But now that you mention it, Monica doesn't have that many perfect qualities; she's really just a replacement in my stories rather then using myself, though I have a lot of fun working out her character.

(I didn't know there was a "good" Mary-Sue! :o)
Good Mary-Sue=paired up with a cannon character, but has flaws and behaves like a real person. Develops in the story.
Bad Mary-Sue=perfect, is loved by everyone, super powerful and so forth.

That's my definition of what a good and bad Mary-Sue is.
Pretty good def ' :) I could've guessed that, I just figured all Mary-Sues were to be avoided...
I know what you mean. So did I. But technically, the term of Mary-Sue DOES ring truth; they're usually paired up with the cannon character. However, like were there are bad people, that doesn't mean there can be good. Like Mary-Sues, there can be both good and bad. In the end, it's all up to the author.

I had a friend who says that all Mary-Sues are bad. Unless they're paired up with a cannon character, she was wrong about that logic. Mary-Sue is classified and identified by the person whom she's paired up with. I guess people are so biased against MS that it becomes ridiculous and that they don't realize that even a Mary-Sue can be written well.

The thing of it is that OCs have become so abundant in fanfiction lately that we all know that the OC wounds up to be paired with that characte in the series, anyways. In the end, it's just part of the fandom like yaoi/slash.

I oughta write an article about Mary-Sues one of these days.
